Deposit and Final Payment

To reserve a G Adventures tour, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits may be a flat rate per person or a percentage of the total tour cost, and the remaining balance is due 60-90 days prior to the departure date. Exact deposit amounts differ depending on the specific tour being purchased and will be confirmed at time of booking. Any clients 60 years of age and over or with preexisting medical conditions are required to complete a G Adventures medical form which must be signed and dated by a physician.

Antarctica $500 to 10% of tour price, per person 90 days before departure

If the final balance is not paid within 60 days before departure (90 days before departure for Antarctica), G Adventures reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled.

If a booking is made 60 days or less before departure (90 days or less before departure for Antarctica), the full amount is payable at the time of booking. For those bookings made within 15 days of departure, there will be a $25 fee charged to the file.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary, with penalties increasing as the departure date approaches. Any cancellation by a client must be made in writing and acknowledged by G Adventures. The date on which the letter is received by the company will determine the cancellation charge applicable. Exact cancellation charge will depend on the tour purchased. If cancellation in writing is received, G Adventures will assess the following penalties:

When a tour is cancelled by G Adventures, the client may choose between a full refund of all monies paid or any alternative tour offered in lieu by G Adventures. The company will not be liable however for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable connecting flights or loss of enjoyment, etc. If the alternative tour chosen by the client is of a lower value than that originally booked then the client is entitled to a refund of the price difference. If the alternative tour chosen by the client is of higher price than that originally chosen then the client must pay the difference.

Within 60-90 days of departure (depending on itinerary) any amendments to a file will depend on availability and be on request basis. Any extra costs incurred will be charged. Any amendments made to a file within 30 to 10 days prior to departure will be subject to a USD$25 amendment fee and any extra costs occured will be charged. Within 10 days of departure, there will be no amendments made to a file. A transfer from one tour to another can only be made more than 60-90 days before departure date (depending on itinerary). If such a request is accepted by the company then the company reserves the right to charge an administration fee of 10% of the value of the first booked tour. Any request to transfer received less than 60-90 days before departure (depending on itinerary) will not normally be accepted. In this case the client must cancel the booking and then re-book on another tour.

Timetables and rates are subject to change, and exceptions may apply for holiday departures; please confirm payment and cancellation policies with your Vacations To Go cruise counselor at time of booking. Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for group bookings.
